A common complain that we saw in the customer reviews is that YBike Extreme balance bike is too small, even for a toddler it is smaller than it should actually be. The age range of the bike is somewhere around 1.5-2.5 rather than 3 year or older.

The bike does not offer longevity, as the seat and the handles are not adjustable, so once your child grows up the bike may actually become useless to him. The handles do not have rubber grips, which is also bad as the handle may scratch the hands of a child.

The design of the bike is very good, and modern. The frame is very lightweight, even your child can pick it up and take it wherever he wants to go. The frame of the bike is aluminum with plastic molded fork; the seat is of plastic as well. Plastic is normally regarded as a less durable material but the one used in this bike is durable.

The thing that this running bike has a big turning wheel has made it admirable to some of the parents, as children often fall while turning the bike.

Assembling the bike is a difficult task, especially the front fork. Unlike most of the running bikes, you will have to read the manual of it, speaking of which many of the people complain about the poorly written manual.

At the end, we will say that we do not recommend it because of the non-adjustable factor. Most of the people who buy running bikes seek for longevity and durability, no doubt, the bike offers great durability. The plastic used in the bike will not give the “cheap” feeling.
